ABOUT A VAMPIRE is a prowling good paranormal tale filled with romance, clever plotting, complications galore and witty dialogue. To cut to the chase, Justin, a drool worthy vampire, saves a lady after she mortally wounds herself. In fact, this very woman, Justin determines, is his life mate, no less! Her name is Holly and there is a big problem. She is already married. Ms. Sands gracefully puts her own spin on the perennially cheating spouse scenario and expertly seasons it with a sharp sense of humor, a yummy bad-boy hero and a stubborn, feisty heroine who stands up for her laurels. The resulting romance is a tasty treat for readers who like sexy romances, which tilt to the lighter side of paranormals. ABOUT A VAMPIRE is smart, spunky and sprinkled with sexiness. Hot fun! ABOUT A VAMPIRE is a sweeter story than the other instalments in the Argeneau series, albeit with all the funny banter and superb characters we expect. Anyone new to the series will find all the necessary background to enjoy this fabulous story. And fear not faithful readers of the series, there is quite of bit of sexy stuff, just not how we are used to, and kudos to Lynsay Sands for finding new ways to keep us entertained and anxious for yet more Argeneau vampires. ABOUT A VAMPIRE is bloody fun! By Monique Daoust at Fresh Fiction.

ABOUT A VAMPIRE was yet another delightful novel in the Argeneau Series by the always amazing Lynsay Sands! I enjoyed it so much. I've been waiting for this one and I am happy to say that the Ms. Sands did not disappoint in her delivery. Justin Bricker finally finds his lifemate and finds himself in an untenable… Given 5 stars by Debra Taylor at The Romance Reviews.

Ms. Sands has done it again. She took a premise I was not comfortable with and turned it around to create an amazing romance that was impossible to put down once the conflict became clear. I actually enjoyed myself and relished the convoluted process of the hero and heroine falling in love. About a Vampire is as sexy, fun, entertaining and delightful as a reader could wish. Fans should get plenty of chuckles at Bricker’s expense, especially in light of all his past shenanigans. I definitely recommend this story to new and established fans alike. TWENTY TWO Books, and several short stories is a massively long-running series. It’s got to be tough to keep the series exciting and fun to write.  This book has twists and turns from page one, and those twists and new takes on a long history keep this series fresh even in this volume. I thought this one was a winner even with fewer steamy hook ups.  It has fresh situations and they had other situations on top that I had not seen coming. I don’t know where she gets new ideas but she has made this entry in the series a winner. I loved it! Review by Fangs, Wands and Fairy Dust.

What can I say about Lynsay Sands and her Argeneau series that already hasn't been said? I have loved this series from the first book and Justin's book does not disappoint.  It feels like I have been a part of this family and their adventures in finding their life mate's. I hope to see more in the Argeneau Series. Given 4.5 stars by Nrslalee at The Night Owl Reviews.

Holly learns being a vampire really sucks and love triangles are a bloody pain in the neck.  About a Vampire is a lighter paranormal which delivers the laughs and adventure. I really enjoyed this installment of the Argeneau series and I can’t wait for more from Lynsay Sands! Reviewed by Jane at Heroes And Heartbreakers.

ABOUT A VAMPIRE by Lynsay Sands is a great addition to the Argeneau series. It’s a story filled with fun, teasing, Bricker’s usual young immortal quirkiness, and I couldn’t have picked a more perfect life mate for him than Holly. She’s a bit a klutz and quirky too. If you’re an Argeneau fan, you need to read ABOUT A VAMPIRE, book 22 in the series and the story we’ve all been waiting for a long time. For the rest of you, if you haven’t tried this series, you’re truly missing out on the most fun you can have in paranormal romance. Review by Amy at Unwrapping Romance.

About A Vampire was quite a bit different than the other books in the series. It had a slightly different feel to the story that was new to me. And it was all due to the circumstances that Justin and Holly find themselves in. Now I normally can’t stand the whole one of the main characters being married, but somehow this story worked for me. I honestly didn’t know how this book would turn out, but Lynsay Sands always wins me over and she accomplished it with About A Vampire. Given four stars by Addicted To Romance.

This is the twenty-second (yes, you read that right!) entry in this sprawling series, and it can certainly be read as the first. A lot of authors do this, with varying degrees of success: they try to make each novel a successful entry-point to the series. Sometimes they fail, or it’s done in such a way that it feels like an insult to the fans who read it from the beginning. Justin Bricker’s story is a success... The most important aspect of Bricker’s story is Holly, his lifemate, who happens to be married to another man. This is a highly unusual set-up for a romance novel, and Sands executed it perfectly. This book works on so many levels. It’s 22 in the whole series but this doesn’t matter, it can be read independently and all of the history of the Argeneaus comes across with ease. It’s sexy, steamy, exciting, but more than that, hilarious. Sands has an incredible wit about her that simply jumps up from the page. I loved this book so much I’m determined to seek out the first one and read the lot. Reviewed by Theresa Derwin at Terror Tree.

All the buildup and relationship pitfalls will leave the fans desperate for a happily ever after, but be warned, the ending can feel abrupt and almost too fast, especially considering how long it took Holly and Justin to find each other. But it's obvious from the beginning how well these two work as a couple, and seeing them come together is worth it, no matter how quickly everything wraps up. This was such a fantastic addition to this series and I enjoyed it so much I went out and bought the next book in the series instead of waiting.  I want to live in this world just a bit longer.  I see that there is one more book for sure after #23, but personally I hope there are many more beyond that.   Sure some books are better than others, but most of the time we get an exciting fun read that puts a smile on our face and lets us escape for just a while.  If you are a fan of this series you will not want to miss Bricker’s story it will not disappoint you! 5 star review by Read What I Like.

Overall it was a great read and I couldn't put it down. I loved that previous characters made an appearance with their life mates. I also loved how you we get to meet brickers parents. Since Justin has brothers and sisters I hope maybe they will get a book or at least introduced in the series. I knew Justin's book would be funny and it definitely lives up to that.
