Oooh I love this book! Val is a bit of a stubborn gal but Daniel, humph I want one! Is it okay if we start book topics about the other historicals like I did with this one? I was just curious about what everyone else thought of Lady Pirate if the SPices prefer we just have the one post... sorry I'll delete it

I love the cover too. It is sexy  <-Miss Green haha.

I love when they are trying to decide if Val is going to really off Daniel. Poor man!

(I'm sure starting a topic for each book is fine.)

This is one I have in my tbr stack that I haven't read yet. I'm looking forward to it, though. Glad to hear you like it so well.

****SPOILER ALERT***
I loved it when Val and the men went to the dressmaker in the middle of the night.

Of course like all of Lynsay's books I couldn't put it down and read it in a night.

Yeah her crew was hysterical. I loved when the her "face" fell off and then broke her out in hives. Poor thing. :D

Yeah that was funny Jill and I also liked that her crew wore pink when pretending to be her servents LOL!

Pink is such a manly color. lol

I felt sorry for her, with all the bad make-up problems. I so hate wearing make-up, and could understand that she did too. I still get tickled over that and the wigs, I can imagine the puffed up poodle look of that time.

I don't know maybe pink was the "in" color for her time. You guys think? :D

Hmmm...the local bookstore had a copy of Lady Pirate the other day. I'll have to get back by there quickly...I'll call tomorrow and ask them to put it aside for me! After just reading Always and now reading how good this book is, I don't want to miss it. I'm just about caught up reading all of the historicals, but now I want to make sure I have all of them on my keeper shelf.Image
