Mmmm...me too, Denise! All that baking that Kat does sounds wonderful.

Alas, Mr. Spice doesn't eat chocolate (over the last couple of years of trying to "bribe" him for useful details about upcoming books, we have learned a few useful details about him LOL)...but this gives you time to find a cherry cheesecake recipe, or maybe a even an Australian cheesecake specialty without chocolate to make when he comes to visit, MsKitty! 8-) You can be experimenting until then...

I do lamb roasts, too although lamb doesn't seem to be nearly as popular here in Canada as it was back in the UK and occasionally I can't even find anywhere stocking it. Thinking about it while writing this, I can't ever remember passing a field of sheep over here. I wonder if it's all imported?

I guess so? There is alot of unhappy folks who don't like the live sheep trade... but I think that's just to the middle east, the livestock are treated pretty horribly once they get of the ship. A protest group put pork in sheep's food that was to be sent to the middle east (poor bloody farmers - stupid protesters.), they also thought the 'halal' way of killing the animals was inhuman aswell. Personally they should have taken the arguement up at the other end.

Well, you all had better come over for that roast!! & Wren - my husband will love it if I start experiementing with cheesecake recipes!!

No cherry cheesecake!

We seem to have more strawberry, blueberry & mixed berry things here!! Truth be told, other than Cherry Ripes, the only cherries I see are in the fruit & veg section (and they are SO tasty!!).

So an internet search for recipes & then off to the kitchen I go!!
