Hi All,

Hope everyone had a wonderful summer. We've had such strange weather that it barely felt like summer however I won't complain. We were just so happy to see the winter end that even a wet and rainy summer was better than being back in that. Things are busy as usual here and although there's a lot you don't see, we are working away in the background.

Lynsay just went through some proofs for the upcoming book The Immortal Who Loved Me and they were difficult. Let's just say that this particular copy editor had her own style that she insisted on trying to implement into the story. (I'm sorry but who's the author here?) This led to quite a few hours... days of work that shouldn't have been necessary.

Lynsay just got the edits for Bricker's story, the next Argeneau story to be pubbed after The Immortal Who Loved Me, and she's working away on those and then she'll be returning to her writing cave to work on the next historical. (It's dark and scary down there so she'll be in the perfect mindset for Halloween!)

Fall is upon us and Halloween is right around the corner. We will have to come up with something particularly fun for this holiday. Anyone going to a Halloween Party?

Terri

Hi All,

Two out three of Lynsay's puppies had paw issues this past week as well as Leigh's dog Maggie. Coincidence? Maybe or perhaps it's just bad paw week but whatever the reason they all had it.

The weather's getting cooler although we're still in the double digits here. Barely but still there. I think the hardest part about the fall are the ever shortening days and therefore less sun. It just means we're going to have to find more things to laugh about as the fall turns into winter. And on that note I'll see what funnies I can find to post to the RAOTFLOL topic.

:-)

I can't believe it's been a little over a year since I've been here!! Very disappointed in myself. Hopefully, I will be making a comeback and can catch up and see how everyone's been. ;)

Hello, everyone!

It's been a crazy Summer and Fall, and here it is almost Christmas! I've been doing so much crochet that I don't pick up a book, so if I can't get an audioversion, I most likely won't read it for a while. But fortunately I have access to all my favorites in audio through our library. Yea!

Hey everyone, for those who are my friends of Facebook had a lot of craziness going on as they know but it has been several years and yes I say years since I have posted on here and that just plain crazy considering I used to post every day several times a day. I started to going to school in 2013 to get my RN/BSN. Ended one relationship to start another 6 months later. I have lost about 110 lbs. I have moved about 4 times. My mother passed away a year ago from complications with her chemo. And I am two years away from completing my schooling where hopefully I will be a RN working in a hospital in Florida instead freezing miserable cold Pennsylvania. And that my friends has been what's keeping me busy.

My what a crazy year I've had. Had to leave Dayton and move back to Macon, GA w/ my moms. Yes, please heap your condolences on me, I deserve them. Had a couple stints in the hospital, yadda yadda, still getting back on my feet. But it's great to be back!

So, it's been forever since I've been on here as well. I thought most everyone I met on the original forum (anyone still remember that? :D ) have kept up with their daily appearance here I guess not. Although I am glad that we're gonna try to be back more often. Hopefully I can do my part and actually participate more this time. Lets see, I think it's been 4 years since I've been an active member, so this is what I've been up to: I left home to live with my boyfriend, got a job at an airport for a year which kept me super busy, got married (yay!), moved to a different state, got a dog and then got two more dogs, then got a cat. Started classes last year and hoping to finish this year. In the meantime I'm volunteering at an animal shelter to get experience so I can get experience and find a job after I'm done with school. Hubs and I have talked about baby #1 sometime later this year as well, since I had an unfortunate miscarriage 4 days before xmas last year. My body is still recovering and I have a few more months before I'm back to normal hormone levels.

Wow. Things have suddenly gotten busy here. I thought they might with Lynsay about to release a new book but I didn't expect this. I just figured the place had wound down in favor of somewhere else like Facebook or something. I personally don't care much for Facebook, but there it is. Anyway, seems like lots of folks on here have had life happen. I've certainly had my share that too. Mostly of the last year or so I've been buried in my own writing. I may never be a successful, in demand author like Lynsay, but I've never made any bones about being a wannabe. Nice to see that things are heating up here. I've been feeling a little guilty since it's looked like Susan's been mostly holding down the fort for the last while. At least that’s how it’s looked the few times I've looked in. I figured I'd better get in and contribute now since I don't want to seem to come out of nowhere when I give my two cents worth about Lynsay's new book.
