Hardbacks....Request to Dorchester....Reply

Postby Denise on May 18th, 2008, 11:12 pm

I sent this request to Dorchester.....
"Who do we have to bribe, oh, I mean BEG, to get hardback book club editions of the three Lynsay Sands Argeneau books published? (Love Bites, Single White Vampire and Tall, Dark and Hungry.) "

Got this reply.....
"Thank you for your interest in our books. We are sorry to disappoint you and will pass your request on to management however since we rarely publish in hard cover it may not happen anytime soon."

Eh. I personally like softcover. It fits in my purse nicely.
I always have a more difficult time with hardcovers. But I'll support those who want hardcovers! *starts a petition and hands it around to the forum*

Here either. Paperbacks are easier to handle, take up less room and do not bruise. :D

I'm a paperback fan, too, but I've already reread the argeneaus twice in one year and am on my third go 'round. I decided that I'd better pick up the hardbacks with the rate I'm re-reading. These are the only books I have purchased in hardback and I'd love to have the Dorchester Three to go with the set. But it looks like we may have to do some serious begging/griping/emailing to get them issued in HB.

Paperback girl, if I wear my Argeneaus out then I'll just buy more. That just means Lynsay moves up in the bestseller list. :D Which is all good.

I'm trying to get a second copy of the first 3. Just in case.
