I guess that means we'll all have to wait long no matter what format we favor. I guess that's fair enough, though a bit disappointing about waiting longer.

Sorry guys. I know it's disappointing to hear about a delayed release. Lynsay's not happy about it either, believe me.

I will say this. Lynsay never wanted to go to hardcover. There has been some demand for it as many readers have requested it. I don't know how this translates in to numbers. All I can say is the publisher always has the final say and they must have thought there was enough demand. I don't know.

It is a good news/bad news thing. It means it's a delayed release by a few months but the paperback will be released earlier than if they'd stuck to their original schedule and released in hard cover on January 3rd, as the paperback version would have come out 6 months after the hardcover version.

Terri

PS-Sorry about my delayed response. I have been really sick with a nasty virus this week. Just feeling somewhat human again today. The ironic part is I got sick the morning after I saw the movie Contagion.

Thanks, Terri! I'm glad to hear it. Those who want a hardback can still get one through book clubs, bu we'll get our paperbacks earlier. Yea!

Also The Bite Before Christmas was released in hardcover and unfortunately won't be released in paperback until next November. Sigh... this is because it's a Christmas themed book so they feel it has to be released around Christmas.

hey Terri, did you know that it says in TBBC that under a Vampire Moon will be released in January? Did they forget to change the date, or did they change the date too late to make the release for TBBC?

They made the change too late to update the release date. I'm sure we will be getting many enquiries about it. Sigh.

Ah well, what are you going to do but deal with it right? :-)

Thank you for the update....I see now, it won't be my birthday present in January....but it's ok....I would rather wait to be able to get the paper back. :-)
