Mines not to special  I would make them a nice romantic dinner since I like cooking and have been told I was good at it. Then I would set it up so they could spend some time alone, and if all else failed....I'd slip them each a sweet ecstasy drink and lock them in a room to err...work out the..... tension.

I'd make the guy think that the lady was in danger, maybe "intercept" some threatening notes and arrange with him to "keep an eye on her" to protect her.

I'm going to stab at this... I appologize in advance...lol

If I was playing cupid right now, the way I am… human. I may suggest that I need to take self-defense classes to help better protect myself. I would not want to go alone so I would insist that the pair would come with me… and of course, once there, they would have to be partners to help demonstrate all the holds & moves. Night after night of touching, holding, and bodies pressed against each other would definitely be a workout in itself while trying hard to keep those senses that roared back to life at bay. Eventually the reluctant one would have to give in and waaa-laaa my work is done…lol

Ok... drum roll everyone..... the winner of a signed copy of THe Reluctant Vampire is... MysticFan!

Aaaaaah! (the crowd goes wild, hands in the air, some people in the front are crying with excitement)

Congratulations MysticFan. Your plan expresses your mastery in manipulation which is so essential to have when playing cupid. And you even made it so they had to constantly touch. Nice!

Thanks to grlnxtdr, rockie, electricfedora and denise for your entries. Yours were also pretty entertaining.

Tom... tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk, tsk. You didn't even try! Remember you did say next time. <WG>

Have a great weekend ladies and gent and I will think up a new contest to post next week.

Just keep in mind that our Canada post may be going on strike so future prize deliveries may be waylaid by this is it can't be resolved.

Cheers,
Terri

First of all would like to say congratulations to MysticFan! Good job.

And also I would like to apologize both to Wren and Terri for my cowardly failure to even try in this contest. I had an idea and everything but my throat would close in my typing fingers would become paralyzed at the very thought of articulating it. I'll attempt to do better next time. Hopefully it will be a subject that doesn't cause me to seize up in fear like that. My admiration for Marguerite and her matchmaking superpowers remains.

Though I'll always be a failure at deliberate matchmaking, I can say that in real life I did play a part in bringing two people together, though not on purpose. It was a classic example of one wedding leading to another and, though Theresa and I have never had kids, there are two beautiful children who wouldn't exist if we hadn’t gotten together. I'll take that as a consolation prize.

Again I say: Congratulations Mystic!
