1. Marguerite-- Simply she's the best! I couldn't leave her off here..
2. Jo-- She shot to the top! She is GREAT!!!! I love her whit!
3. Kate-- She is simply just on of my favs!! I think she became one of my favs when I read Single, White Vampire!!!
4. Terri-- I love the way she handles everything!
5. Rachel and Leigh-- They are tied because I love the way they both come off!! How they know what they want and aren't afraid to go after it.

1.) Marguerite, of course, the woman just has such heart, and a core of inner strength that has carried her through some pretty nasty times without growing bitter or angry. And she's always there for those around her, whether family or not. But it's her heart that makes her stand above. She embraces everyone and welcomes them into her family with such ease and an open hand.

2.) Eshe is just kick ass. Strong, sexy, no-nonsense. And while you didn't get to see much of it in her story, she is a good mother with a lot of love to give like Marguerite.

3.) Elvi and Leigh. Elvi is a sweetie. She has those good friends for a reason. And Leigh has a lot of heart too. Her nasty experiences didn't change her either, except maybe to prove to her how strong she was.

4.) Drina and Caro, both for different reasons. Drina is just kind of ...er...well, she goes after what she wants in interesting ways. And Caro is another who struggled her way out of a bad situation and managed to hold onto her core strength despite some nasty mental and emotional abuse. She didn't kick ass to get out, her situation was more cloying, like a spider web with sticky strands that she slowly managed to pull herself out of. But it took a certain kind of strength to do that.

5.) Dani and Stephanie tie. Dani for her determination and strength. I still laugh when I think of her jumping on that poor farmer and licking at his head. She fought hard not to hurt that old couple. And Stephanie...well, you just have to read how naughty that kid can be. I gave you a taste of it with the excerpt from the story. But this kid too has been through a lot and is coming out of it like a star.

Lynsay, who has a serious problem counting to five

P.S. Again, Kate, Rachel, Jackie, Terri, Lissianna, Inez, Sam, Jo and Alex are all sweeties too, but again, had to pick five or there abouts. LOL
