Is it really, Copper? I've read about it in many books, but somehow can't see myself trying it. Can you describe it for us? That is, how it's cooked and how it tastes :?:

jill wrote:Canned tomatoes sounds good but I might have to pass on the Ketchup. Heehee isn't it funny all things people put Ketchup on? I used to put it on my scrambled eggs. I know of plenty of people who still do. :D

When I went to meet The Frog Prince's parents for the first time, all on my own, he had called them and told them to put Ketchup out at every meal. According to my dear prince, I ate Ketchup on everything when we met. I did like Ketchup, but I didn't eat it on everything...it just seemed that way to him. Actually, I'm glad I went to Kansas without him to meet his family. It made things easier than him hovering over us the whole time. He was still in the navy and couldn't leave the ship to go with me. I hit it off great with my soon-to-be in-laws, and had a great relationship with them...I was a very lucky girl. Although, they probably wondered if the Ketchup thing was some sort of eating disorder or southern belle weirdness. LOL

Part of the problem was I always had a steak cooked so well-done that it was as tough as shoe leather...so the Ketchup made it taste better. I still don't eat a lot of steak, but when I do, I don't have it overcooked.

Not sure what Ketchup has to do with this thread, but it was an interesting trail to follow anyway! Only now I'm hungry, and mac-n-cheese sounds really good. Without Ketchup, please! :P
I have never eaten Ketchup on my mac-n-cheese. :)

Good Wren I may have had to disown you for that little faux pas. I take my Mac N Cheese very seriously!
