Okay, you know my theory that Stephanie will be Justin's lifemate. However, yes, I agree that she's too young right now, but I think it would be neat to have someone find their lifemate and then have to wait. It might be good payback for Bricker considering all he's put the other guys through. Wouldn't they just love watching the frustration she'd put him through while growing up?!

So, what's your theory regarding Steph? I know we've posted much about her in other places but I thought it would be good to get them in one thread.

Denise i like this idea and it would so be Justin who would have wait, but i do see how they are well matched shes a fire cracker

but then again she is off to port henry so she mite find a guy about her age and then have a problem with the parents knowing about the vampire dating their son qand not being happy about it and him wanting to be turned dont know what others think

Speaking of her in Port Henry.... wouldn't it be a riot if her lifemate was Elvi's neighbor boy? the one who pretended to be a vampire? I can't remember his name right now but that would be so ironic! Could be lots of fun.

Denise I had the same thought on Jan 4th here

It is not impossible, BUT the child takes after the mortal, immortal, fanged or no fanged.

as for Justin & Stephine..Do not think so..Because during a turn no-one can be controlled nor read. I think Stephine will meet a nice boy in Port Henry..Would be real funny if it was Evie's neighbor's son??

I think with Steph's ability to read any Immortal she will be a vital part of the enforcers/council after she comes of age. She will be able to not only track the rouges faster but maybe prevent them from going rouge.

Sin, I didn't remember reading your thoery about Steph and the neighbor boy. Wow, great minds! And I agree that she will be a great asset to the enforcers. Her story is looking to be mighty interesting!

I also find this interesting, along with the fact that Leonius 21 was so fascinated by her. Why? There has to be a reason. Leo 2 never takes the time or bothers to see what his victims are like because he doesn't care & never thinks about what other uses they might have...his insanity causes him to only see things the one way. I think Leo 21 picked up on the fact that Stephanie had something "different" about her even before she was turned. Why else would he not follow his father's orders as he usually would, or feed off her, or even try to defy Leo 2 turning her? Did Steph possibly have some kind of "psychic ability" that she may not even have been aware of that the nanos perfected when they brought her to peak condition during her turn? Even though she is Edentate, she isn't different in other ways except for not having fangs from other Immortals (& the having children concerns if Dani & Bastien's research team don't find a way to cure or improve the odds for the Edentates' babies.) Has Lucian been made aware of this "special ability"...I could see it being very useful in helping the council & the enforcers. Even though she is still a child, and he is doing everything possible to protect her, training her to use this unique ability for her safety and the safety of the Immortals could be a very good thing. Another thought...with her ability to read even very old Immortals...what kind of twist does that put on her finding a true life mate? Can she read Lucian or Nicodemus Notte? Can she read those who are 'insane'...more easily picking out their mixed up & painful thoughts so that the Immortals can help them? Could her ability help Dani & Bastien find an answer for the Edentates' unique problems? Does her ability to read 'anyone' make her ability for mind control of others stronger? Soooo many questions....soooo long until we have answers!

Tiny's book takes place chronologically after Armand's book. Since they are hiding Stephanie, and two Enforcers are her escorts to Port Henry, that means Leo 2 & his crew are still a threat to Stephanie after Armand's story...or someone from the no-fangers is...although we don't know that Stephanie has actually met Armand or Eshe. She was staying at the Enforcer headquarters, wasn't she? However, it doesn't mean she would have been able to meet everyone. Do the no-fangers know about Stephanie's special ability? If so, it seems they would want to get her even more...Basha or whoever is behind Leo 2...would be able to see the extra value of having her under their control...especially if they thought the ability would pass on to any children she might bear.

I think placing her with Elvi & Mabel will be great for Stephanie. As usual, Lucian is a genius...though I'm sure he had help from Leigh! :D Yes, Steph was contrary and often whiny or pouty in the story, but she sounded very much like a normal hormonal 15yo girl to me (yeah, I can still remember being one  ) ...and Steph was not so bad considering how traumatized she was & how much she is missing her family, even Dani! Elvi & Mabel are just the two ladies to help transition her more fully to her "new life." They know what it's like to be young girls, as young women, and as older women, and to suffer losses of mortal family & friends, and they have so much experience in working with children...both while mortal & immortal through motherhood, their restaurant, their bed & breakfast, and their community. They also both know what it's like to either have being an Immortal thrust upon you, such as by accident in Elvi's she can relate to Steph feeling different & isolated & confused, or to choose to be turned, as in Mabel's case, when the opportunity to be with her true life mate came along. They are also in a community that knows about and cares about (as long as they don't think you are turning their teen sons into vampires *grin*) and accepts the Immortals, so Stephanie won't be living in the "vampire cop" world every minute, which just can't be healthy under her circumstances. Victor and D.J. don't have to do all their work right in front of the "girls." Previously, I had thought that either Marguerite, or more likely, Decker's mother Martine, would possibly raise Stephanie to adulthood...but who better than Victor & Elvi and D.J. & Mabel to give her a "normal life" in Port Henry while she grows up? I don't know if that's where Lynsay is taking Stephanie, but it's an idea that I like. If I wanted an "enforcer guardian" for a special child...well, Elvi has enough love in her heart for many children of all ages and Victor is Lucian's brother and they have D.J. & Mabel to help...Victor is who I would a heartbeat!
