Okay, Ladies and Gent! I can finally start adding my comments to this thread! Yes, I finally received the book about my absolute favorite immortal! Read it in about 3 hours this afternoon. I've now read through the comments listed here but I'm still going to have to wait for a more in-depth analysis I have to do a re-read to get te little facts rolling around in my brain and coming up with a cohesive list!

What I can't believe is that no one seems to have caught the error on page 186! I caught it right away!

My first impressions though are: I love how Christian has come to accept his new extended family. At the end of VI, he seemed a little hesitant and unsure about how to deal with all of them. But now he can even make jokes about their personalities (Lucern!). I also love it when he calls Marguerite "Mom"! It melted my heart when he said it that first time on the phone and she broke down!

Tom, don't worry, I didn't catch the Bethany/bad guy angle either. It really surprised me at the end. I figured Robert for a class-A jerk but not Bethany. It just figures that he wouldn't want to get his hands dirty in killing Cara himself. Isn't always the bully who keeps his hands clean when it comes to the dirty work?

What is it with Notte men that have their meaningful conversations in the men's room?

Absolutely split a gut over the whole Cara thinking that Gia's gay cousin was Zarapolo (sp?)? He was too, too funny with his wild thoughts about what would make her think that way. And, Christian's references to Julius about his "wooing" techniques with Marguerite! Priceless!

Lynsay, all in all, I want to thank you for the wonderful story about my favorite immortal! I only would have loved it more if it were about a 50-year-old single lady from Chicago who loves to sing in Italian, named Sue!

Your Welcome, Lynsay!

The error is in the list of wives' names for Christian's brothers. The list should be Kate, Terri & "Rachel". The book has the list as Kate, Terri & "Jackie". You mention Jackie and Vincent later in the book when Christian was telling Cara about the lifemates sexual hunger upon first getting together, though.
