Denise wrote:As for his job change, remember, he had "died" as far as the mortals knew so he couldn't go back to his old job.

Remember, most of the staff of V.A. Productions were immortal, plus, for the mortal staff, it could easily be explained that Vincent was being threatened, so that they had to go through the charade of a funeral to keep the killer unaware of what had happened.

True. They could have. So I guess he decided he wanted a little bit of a change.

Just re-read the blurb on Lynsay's website and noticed this: "he's roped into a family favor". I hadn't noticed that before and couldn't figure out why all the sudden he's an undercover body guard. Now I'm thinking the he's doing the favor for Marguerite, sneaky lady!

Why not? Marguerite has her hand in almost every relationship we've seen, in one way or another.

Marguerite was there when Vincent turned Stephano to save him. I can see where she would have been "looking" for the right life mate for him since that happened. Indeed, she's a very sneaky lady...and when it comes to book details, so is our dear Lynsay ;) :D

Yes ! She interviewed lots of mortals and immortals with Tiny! She may have noticed a match even then! Remember for immortals they may have a different sense of time. She may have been "taking notes" even then! I really should stop speculating, may be going off on a tangent. Still waiting on the excerpt! Going to be a looooonnnnnngggg wait!
