Bitten by Cupid on the New York Times Lists

Postby Mr Spice on January 22nd, 2010, 11:18 am

We've heard that Bitten by Cupid will hit no 14 on this week's New York Times best seller lists. An exceptional result for an anthology and so a big thank you goes out to everyone who got their copy during this first week.

NOW I see this post.... Well, I say "Yea, me! I helped put it there!" And so did many of you on the board. Way to go, us! But, of course, biggest kudos to Lynsay. Great job!

Another job well done, Lynsay. I think we would all fall into a deep depression if you decided to end the series. So keep them coming and we'll do our part to keep them on the lists.

While looking at the link, I realized that the anthology is also the highest placing first week release. Everything else has been out longer! :o

Congrats, Lynsay!

Lynsay has a first for herself on this week's New York Times bestseller lists.

Bitten by Cupid was an number 14 last week and this week it is one place higher at number 13. Lucky for some.

Perhaps all those delayed deliveries were a blessing in disguise and so big thank you to everyone who bought (or received) their books during the second week after publication.

Congrats Lynsay! That's fabulous news!

Maybe this is a dumb question, but aside from the kudos from your fans, do you get any other benefits from your publisher for placement on the list? I know we buy the books as soon as they come out (whenever possible!) because we can't wait to see what happens next, but does that help you?

Just curious..... :?

It's more a kind of 'badge of honour'. Beyond that there is no actual benefit for being on the NY Times list other than the extra visibility that it provides.
