Firstly -GREAT word!! Up there with 'Discombobulated' for me!!

So is that where calling someone an "Ol'Cur" comes from?? Usually the speaker is referring to a grumpy man!!

It probably is where we get "Ol'Cur" although I didn't find it when looking up the definition. However, definition #2 seems to fit! :lol:

curmudgeon

1. (archaic): A miser.
2. An ill-tempered (and frequently old) person full of stubborn ideas or opinions.

Dave, for you we would need to retitle the thread "Mr. Grumpy Fangs" because it's funny that Lynsay wrote so much of *you* (by your own confession) into SWV before you two had even met. :lol:

I also suspect that you are not as curmudgeonly as you lead us to believe...although you do deserve your own thread for putting up with us! ;)
