What Comes Next Game...

Postby grlnxtdr29 on March 26th, 2010, 1:10 am

Ok, the rules are Simple. A line from the books will be given. All you have to do is Give the Next line, and what book it is from. Get it right and you can start with a new Line. I'll get this starting with the first line:

You like me, Yes?

(Is the a better name? Wasn't sure what to call it )

Another game maker...WELCOME!! grlnxtdr29, I suggest that you go in & edit the title of the thread to a "name" for the game...we have a "Sing the next line" for songs of any kind, but you can make it as simple as "Next Line Game" or "Say The Next Line" or whatever you like so that the topic will stand out for those who play the games! Sometimes it's hard to find them when posts fly...and they do whenever a new book is released  ...although we have asked Terri to possibly put the games in a place of their own on the forum so they don't get "lost."

Okay, for those who play the games...we are looking for the next line following...

You like me, Yes?...and don't forget to name the book!

Oh and I like the name of the game you came up with -- it's perfect. 8-)

grlnxtdr29's line:

You like me, yes?

Since it's been a few days since I posted this and haven't gotten any guesses yet, I will give a Clue. Lynsay was Correct, Alessandro does say it....

You Like me, Yes?

Okay. I'll bite. The line is slightly incorrect, but I will fix it.

"You like me, no?" he asked with a grin when she met his gaze.

Elvi stared at him in confusion, and then followed his gaze when he glanced down, realizing only then that when Edward had slammed on the brakes, she'd grabbed the man's knee and was still clutching it for dear life. TAV pg. 100&101.

Next "All right, you two. Stop it."
"It's staked and baked, Jo. We're not pork chops." T. Argeneau :D
"Ohhhh, glow in the dark. Good choice." D. Notte

Question, are we supposed to give the next spoken line? or the next lines of the book?

"All right, you two. Stop it," Bastien interrupted. He had ridden out to the Argeneau family home after Lucern had called him, ranting unintelligibly about being tricked and shouting that he was going to wring their precious mother's neck.

or

"So what, exactly, is the problem, Luc? I thought you were willing to trade an interview with this Romantic Weekly magazine to get rid of Kate? What's happened to change that?"

Either way, it's from SWV.

So next is:
"Mother has been as helpful as always,"

the next line from the book, not necessarily the next quote.
