The challenge now is to use both words in the same sentence.

Mom's side:

An aunt who had a twin boy and girl,
my mom who is a twin , she has a twin brother.

My dad's side:

An uncle who has a frist set of twins (identical) that were boys, then a second set of twins (not identical) that were girls, then he ad a set of twins that were one boy and one girl.
And that is about it. :D

My late father-in-law was a twin...his sister is still living. Fraternal twins do run in families, whether they are boy/girl or same gender twins.

I often teased and tormented my younger sisters by reminding them that identical twins were "freaks of nature." I didn't make that up...it came out of a book when I was just a child when my mother was in the Moms of Twins Club. (I believe the Moms of Twins Clubs are international and open for all Mothers of Multiples, for those of you who know families with twins or other multiple births!) Actually, to be polite, in monozygotic twins, "division of the zygote into two embryos is not considered to be a hereditary trait, but rather an anomaly that occurs in birthing at a rate of about three in every 1000 deliveries worldwide, regardless of ethnic background." (Wikepedia "Twin")

However, it's not as much fun calling your irl sisters an anomaly in birthing as it is to call them "freaks of nature" when you tease them...even when all of you get lots old..er! Image Hmmm...Gypsy comes up for a visit this week!Image I'll need to give her and my Mom another reminder! But, don't worry...my Mother will put me in my place soon enough...I can already hear her calling me by my full name! Please remember that my irl sisters and I are very close, in spite of our weird way of showing it! OK, just a thought.....

I have been re-re-re-reading :D BITE ME IF YOU CAN,
in it Leigh makes a comment about never seeing one of the twins without the other.

I wonder if they have ever been separated on a job? and if so, how did they handle being apart?
and if one gets his life-mate, I know the other will be happy for his brother, but you have to wonder whats its going to be like trig to learn about his new life-mate and balance his relationship with his brother.
Anyone have any thoughts???.....
