A Note To Readers
Valentine's Day... the holiday for the romantic at heart. I'll admit it... I'm a romantic at heart. I am an eternal optimist, always hopeful, as mushy inside as a marshmallow and have a big soft spot for Disney. When we went to Disneyland last summer I even wore Minnie Mouse ears. <G> And before you ask Yes, they do come in adult sizes and you'd be shocked at how many adults wear them. So if that's not dedication to my love of Disney then I don't know what is. So I hope you too can find your lightness of heart. It's nice over here in the warm waters of good-natured company, sunny dispositions and comical conversation. Come on in and join me!
On that note I should let you know that the next book in the Argeneau series called Immortal Ever After is coming out at the end of this month. This is Anders story and although he has worked with Lucian as a rogue hunter for quite a while, we know very little about him other than he's loyal, will do what's necessary to get the job done, is not one for idle conversation and has a soft spot for dogs. Immortal Ever After will allow us to look beneath Anders's darkness and get to know this 600-year-old vampire like never before.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope you have a wonderful day and get to spend a little time with loved ones, whomever they are. I know I'll be curling up with a good book, in my favorite chair, beside my sweetheart. ;-)
The next book in the Argeneau series is coming out at the end of this month! It's called Immortal Ever After and this story is about Anders. Many of you might recognize his name, as he is a rogue hunter that has appeared in a few books in the series, the most memorable of which would have been The Renegade Hunter.
Immortal Ever After is about Valerie, a survivor who escapes a rogue serial killer vampire only to land in Anders' arms. He quickly discovers she could be the life mate he's waited over 600 years for. The only question is... When Anders finally explains things to her, will Valerie be able to accept Anders for who he really is, or will she only see him as a bloodthirsty vampire like the monster she escaped.
Then at the end of June I have another hysterical historical coming out called An English Bride In Scotland. This is about exactly what the title suggests but with a whole lot more story. Annabel was sent to away at the age of seven to become a nun, but fourteen years later her parents bring her back home in order to marry her off to a Scottish stranger in her absentee sister's place. Annabel knows nothing about how to be a good wife, let alone how to look after a castle or it's people. In fourteen years, she hasn't even set eyes on a man except for the elderly priest that oversaw mass at the abbey, so she’s a little overset to find herself with a husband-to-be who is a huge, rough-looking, walking wall of muscle-rippling, spicy-smelling, rumbling-voiced man. Oh lord... Her life has definitely taken a new and unexpected direction.
