My latest news...

Dante Notte's book #23, Runaway Vampire, is out @ midnight tonight everywhere books are sold!

Yes, this sexy enforcer finally gets his story and in the most spectacular fashion. You know I'm not one to do anything the typical way...Poor Dante gets run down by his life mate, literally, while she's driving an RV of all things! (Definitely not the best introduction to one's life mate.) And then there's the matter of their misperceived age difference...Mary's in her sixties and looks like she's in her sixties and Dante is over a hundred years old but looks like he's in his mid-twenties. Good luck Dante!

I LOVE this image and the reason is two-fold: In Runaway Vampire Mary has a German Shepherd named Bailey, and we have a German Shepherd named Eshe!

So we'd like to celebrate the release of Argeneau book #23, Runaway Vampire, by running a giveaway for newsletter readers only! Tell me the book where we first meet the Notte twins! A winner will be drawn from all the correct responses to win a signed copy of a book of their choice by Lynsay Sands. Responses can be emailed to You have until midnight on Friday, February 26th to enter.

Updates since the last newsletter...

We had a furry visitor for a few weeks. Terri was looking after a black lab named Dakota while her parents were in St. Vincent and we told her to bring her around. So the puppy pack grew by one for a couple of weeks, which meant even more fun and chaos than usual! LOL

I will be attending the annual Romantic Times Booklovers Convention in April, which will be in Las Vegas this year. Perhaps I'll see you there! :-)

My upcoming books...

Lady Pirate will be reissued at the end of June. This is not your classic tale of a good-hearted bad guy in black pants and a billowy top.  My pirate is the heroine, not the hero of this story. The hero is your conservative Lord-of-the-manor type but it turns out this Lord-of-the-manor can be a little bad too.

Argeneau book #24 called Immortal Nights is Tomasso’s story. It will be released in the third week of September. Even I was surprised by some of the things that happened in his story….it starts off with him naked and caged in the cargo hold of a transport plane, only he’s not alone. Thinking it was a good opportunity for a mini vacation with an old friend, the pilot hides Abigail in the cargo hold only to realize too late that this was not a flight of leisure and that his paying customers were dangerous. Oh...and our stowaway Abigail also happens to be Tomasso’s life mate.

Book #4 of the Highlander series will be now coming out in early 2017 and is titled Falling For The Highlander. This one's about Murine Carmichael who was also one of the ladies that showed up at Castle Sinclair as a potential bride for Cam. You’ll remember her as the one who kept fainting throughout Jo's book, To Marry A Scottish Laird. She also became good friends with Jo and Saidh and revealed her mettle in that story even with her tendency to swoon.

What I'm currently working on...

And I’m about to start working on the next book in the Argeneau series, book #25. This story is going to be heading in a slightly different direction so stay tuned!

I’m also working on the 5th book in my latest Scottish Highlanders series and this one’s about Edith Drummond, friend of Joan, Saidh and Murine’s that readers met in To Marry A Scottish Laird.

I've been told 2016 is the year of the Fire Monkey, which means a year full of adventure, enthusiast energy and when anything can happen! (Jeez...sounds good to me!) I hope we all have an adventurous and happy year!

Runaway Vampire Dante Notte is finally getting his story in Argeneau book #23...

Buckle up—the Argeneaus are back in a sexy, witty new novel from New York times bestselling author Lynsay Sands
Dante Notte has heard it said that love hurts. He just wasn't expecting it to run him over in an RV. Still, a punctured lung and broken ribs are nothing compared to the full-body shock he feels whenever he's near the vehicle's driver, Mary Winslow. He needs to keep her safe from their pursuers while he rescues his brother. Most challenging of all, he needs to claim this smart, stubborn woman as his life mate.
The naked, injured, insanely gorgeous younger man who clambered into her RV insists they belong together. If Mary wasn't feeling their incredible connection in every inch of her being, she wouldn't believe it. But now that the men who took Dante's twin are after her too, trusting her gut means risking her life for an immortal who's the very definition of a perfect stranger.

The Loving Daylights Who doesn't love a good spy...

This James Bond-esc cover is perfect forThe Loving Daylights, a spy novel spoofing the infamous series but with a female lead of course!

Jane Spyrus is a gadget geek who's much more like a Q than a James Bond.  But of course this isn't a serious mystery with cool lead but a humorous adventure with a charmingly quirky leading lady, her wickedly funny sidekick grandmother with her ever-present yappy lapdog.  And of course we can't forget the handsome and often bemused hero that really has no choice but to follow these ladies into trouble.
